Bellanova Strings

BellaNova Electric Strings is a female electric strings act based in Greenville, SC. Co-founders Jean Anderson (electric cello) and Kristen Miller (electric violin) were both born and raised in the Greenville, SC area, and began studying their instruments and training at a young age under amazing local talent. They both attended and graduated from the Greenville Fine Arts Center and performed with the Greenville County Youth Orchestra throughout high school. After attending college to study music, Kristen at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music (CCM) and Jean at the Petrie School of Music at Converse College, they both found themselves back in the Upstate where they began collaborating with different musical organizations and performing together. They then decided they wanted to reach a broader audience with their talent, and began learning and performing on electric string instruments and arranging familiar and popular music that can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages. BellaNova has made it their mission to educate and reach the general public with their music, and to help promote music and string education on a local, regional, and national level.
